About Angel

Angel Zimmerman graduated from Washburn School of Law in 2006, prior to law school she had been office manager of the firm since 1996 under the prior names of Thomas A. Valentine, P.A. and Valentine & Zimmerman, P.A.

She became the inaugural president of the Kansas Bar Association Law Practice Management Section in 2007 and Law Practice Management committee chair in 2015.

She has had the privilege of serving many organizations including:

-President of Women Attorney Association of Topeka (WAAT) (2011-2012)

-President of Kansas Women Attorney Association (KWAA) (2012-2013)

-President of American Business Women's Association (ABWA) (2020-2021) 

-Washburn School of Law Board of Governors (2008-2014) and (2020- )

-Chair of the International JRCLS-WIL Women in Law committee (2016-2018)

-President of The National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations (2018-2019)

– Washburn Law School Foundation (2014 – )

-Chair of Minority and Women Business Development Council for GoTopeka (2016) and Women’s Initiatives chair (2014 – 2019)

-President of Parks for All (2020 - 2022)

-International Chapter Relations Chair J. Reuben Clark Law Society (2023 - 2025)
